I am currently a student to become an engineer at the EPMI in Cergy, a French «Grande École» where I am studying all aspects of electronics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics and management. Next year I will have another internship, but for a 6 months period, and my studies will end in 2011 with a granted engineer diploma. I would now like to put my theory into practice. I needed to find an internship in a foreign country where English is spoken to improve English and because I have to pass my TOEIC before the end of June.

I found an internship at AREVA in Erlangen for my four months training period as an assistant engineer, as I don’t speak any German, I just speak English and a little French.

I started my internship at the beginning of November 2009 and I’m actually working with project engineers, helping them in many tasks which are all for the same project which is located in Finland.

I am interested in developing my skills and workplace experience and I believe that an opportunity to work at AREVA would be very worthwhile. Moreover I have a good overview of my future, how to work with different people from different countries (France, Germany, Finland). How to deal with trouble, how to improve things, how to work with a big team…

It’ s really interesting to do an internship at AREVA, because you can meet many people who are really nice and learn which is a great opportunity to improve myself.
